Butter Beans provides an on-site custom solution for those schools that maintain full kitchens. Based upon the specific objectives of the school, the range of possible services include the daily lunch, breakfast and snack services combined with catering services for internal meetings, parents and other events.
Our On-Site Kitchen Model offers a fully customized solution to the specific objectives of the school community and incorporates 100% food preparation and production at the
school while utilizing the economic value of our large commissary kitchen in Queens, New York (purchasing power, our transportation group, etc.).
With a baseline of a nutritional, freshly made school meal program, Butter Beans collaborates with the school to develop a meal service program that is aligned with the specific school objectives. This includes a rotating monthly menu that is published in advance of each month. That menu is typically unique between the elementary, middle and high school students to meet the particular palates of different age groups.
Butter Beans’ on-site team is supported by a Chef Manager, who is assigned to the school on a full-time basis. This individual ensures the consistent operations and customer experience at the school with specific attention to high quality, locally sourced ingredients all within an efficient and safe operation and in accordance with food safety guidelines and regulations.
