Through the strength of a proven commissary kitchen model, we are able to provide high volume meal production at reasonable pricing. Our tasty meals are provided in bulk or individually packaged and are delivered to our customers by our in-house transportation team and delivery fleet. Since February 2020, we have provided our meals from a contained and controlled environment maintaining a COVID-19 safe meal service program.

Recent customers include NYC charter schools providing low income communities with emergency grab and go meals (breakfast, lunch and snacks) during the COVID crisis combined with supporting the New York City meal programs for families with meal insecurities. Through these and other efforts, together we have provided over 40,000 meals per week with capacity in excess of 50,000 meals per week.

Since COVID-19 began to affect the NYC Metro area, we have been fundraising for our frontline relief program called Soup-4-Support. Through customer driven donations, we have prepared over 7,500 soups that have been sent to over 30 different hospitals in and around the city to support our healthcare workers.

As a trusted institutional food service provider, Butter Beans has built a strong, positive reputation for providing high-quality, nourishing meals to New York City communities. This includes working through the New York State Education Department (NYSED) under the National School Lunch Program to operate a fully compliant meal program with our charter school partners.
